The MACA (Museum of Contemporary Art Acri), opened in June of 2006, has, in 11 of its 30 rooms, the collection of works by the artist and master of glass Silvio Vigliaturo. It is 237 works donated by the artist to the city of Acre. The works are the result of a selection of the production of Vigliaturo 1961-2004 and mark the milestones of his art, from the beginning until the pictorial refined elaboration of its spectacular and colorful glass sculptures.
The remaining nineteen rooms of the palace are home to regular exhibitions, talks, workshops and educational events dedicated to contemporary art.
